Bello’s Italian Grille, located in the Alpen Haus Hotel at Alpine Junction serves a Tuscan Italian Menu that is like no other in Star Valley.
Amy Riffle, the owner and operator, said “My inspiration for this restaurant was that I grew up in an Italian family”
She met her husband who was a Chef for 22 years and he inspired her to do finer dining Italian.
Amy also says “I am doing more authentic Italian rather that the lasagna and meat balls found in American Italian cooking.
When asked what her favorite dishes are she points out the Shrimp Scampi, which is large shrimp sauteed in a cream and scampi butter sauce served over angel hair pasta, and the Totellini Di Rosa, which is cheese filled tortellini tossed with proscuitto ham, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms in a rosemary cream tomato sauce.
Amy tells us “I love working with people and I take pride in what I’m doing because I’m the owner and I cook the food. I’m always asking people if they like the food. I like to challenge myself and am open to new ideas.”
